Dave's final England photos

Thanks once again to CP Member KC40ash for the photos. 'Dave' couldn't leave England without photos of the local oceans and seas... 'Dave' at the Pier at Lytham St Annes, near Blackpool, (famous for Open Golf), this is at High tide, at Low tide no sea, for over a mile out.

KC says that where he lives they dont have oceans, just seas. 'Dave' is photographed here in an estuary where we have large High and Low tides. This is part of the Irish Sea.

Dave doesn't do Roller Coasters...

....at least not on windy days. Thanks to CP member KC40ash for entertaining Dave on his second stop in England. Who says England never has nice weather in the winter...

Blackpools Big One Roller Coaster, sadly it was a little
to windy for Dave to get a ride today.

This is what happens when non-americans watch American Football... they become San Francisco 49'er fans.... Well, considering the dyansty they once had, guess it isn't all that bad ;o)

Can Dave fill Joey's shoes...

Well, we can hope Joey (Harrington if you know me) can get his career righted and achieve the same, if not more, success as Mr. Dave did in his tenure with the league. Thanks again to Scotsman for sharing part of his collection.

After the Lions traded Joey to the Dolphins last year they had a fire sale on his autographed memorabilia. Worked out nice for those of us who are fans. I find the photo fairly ironic; the organization never gave either QB a chance. They turned to Mitchell over Krieg (how did that work out), while Joey was run out of town for his failure to block, catch, and run as well as play QB. End sermon.

Dave at the Rugby match part II

The good news is Dave has reached his next stop in England. Sadly, due to the snow he encountered his departure was delayed. To help fill the void until new pictures of his adventure are ready we are uploading a few more from his last stop. Thanks again to CP Member Scotsman for sharing the experience!

The reason for Dave's departure delay.... Well, maybe a snow ball fight isn't in his best interest, but it is better than putting him in your bicycle spokes as I did my Joe Montana rookies when I was younger.

6 Nations rugby tournament - Calcutta Cup match

Dave enjoyed a European treat as he went to the 6 Nations Rugby tournament in Twickenham, London, England. 100+ years old tradition with 82,000 in attendance. Scotland lost 42-20, apparently they let the Lions send some players to try out, you can see how well that worked.
Thanks to CP Member Scotsman for the great pictures.

Thanks to CP Member Scotsman for the pictures...
