Dave Does Penn State University

After a long night recovering from 'jet lag', it was a full day of PSU activities for Dave. Thanks again to CP Member Bounty13 for the pictures.

Pictures, inside and out, of the Bryce Jordan Center. Great seats, but sadly the good guys lost to Illinois.

Dave Experiences College life

Of course, everyone who joined in the festivities with Dave is over the legal drinking age... After a long night of libations with friends, what could be better than an afternoon basketball game against a Big 10 rival that just lost their 'chief'. Go Lions!! Thanks to CP Member Bounty13 for the pictures.

Personally, not a High Life guy but to each their own...

Dave is heading back to the Colonies

After enjoying his last few weeks in England, Dave is heading back home to those rebellious colonialists in the US. First stop, one of the original 13 Colonies, Pennsylvania (founded by William Penn in 1682, there, my educational lesson of the day), where he will enjoy the college life in State College, home of Penn State University. Maybe he can meet Joe Pa and find out what life was like when Pennsylvania was founded... ;o)

Dave's final England photos

Thanks once again to CP Member KC40ash for the photos. 'Dave' couldn't leave England without photos of the local oceans and seas... 'Dave' at the Pier at Lytham St Annes, near Blackpool, (famous for Open Golf), this is at High tide, at Low tide no sea, for over a mile out.

KC says that where he lives they dont have oceans, just seas. 'Dave' is photographed here in an estuary where we have large High and Low tides. This is part of the Irish Sea.

Dave doesn't do Roller Coasters...

....at least not on windy days. Thanks to CP member KC40ash for entertaining Dave on his second stop in England. Who says England never has nice weather in the winter...

Blackpools Big One Roller Coaster, sadly it was a little
to windy for Dave to get a ride today.
