Dave lives like a Colonial...

Well, good news and bad news for those following Dave's Experience. The positive is, CP Member Sycotic hooked him up for some fun time in Virginia. The downside, well, the event we have been waiting on since January kind of fell through, but, more on that later. To the photos!!

CP Member Sycotic, aka Dave, put 'Dave' to work at his bank...

Williamsburg, Virginia

'Dave' tried making a break for it. On an irrelevant note, I have a friend in Oregon that works for Diebold. One technician for literally hundreds of square miles. Can you say busy... ;o)

You cannot go to Williamsburg without a picture of a Colonial...

Just down the street from where Tom Hank's production company is working on a John Adams miniseries. Wonder if he'll bring the volleyball back for a cameo ;o)

Finally, one of the first things we signed 'Dave' up for when we began the entire experience back in January was an all access trip to the Lamb of God concert. Well, when Sycotic showed up with 'Dave', lets just say Security was a little concerned that a 12 oz solid piece of Lucite might be used as a weapon so he was not allowed in... *sigh*. So, after months of waiting Sycotic's back stage pass is as close as he got.

For more about Dave Krieg

take a visit to his personal web site. I should have posted this earlier for people to view, sorry. But, on the plus side, I'm going to add it to our 'Friends of Dave' section (it isn't wrong to list the person as a friend of himself is it??)

**Please note**, this blog nor our site (Collector Planet) are in any way endorsed by Dave Krieg or any other athletes, public personalities, or individuals that have or will be featured in pictures with 'Dave'. This site is solely for the enjoyment of our members and the public at large.

My nominee for the March picture of the month...

Thanks for the picture thepistonsfan!! While on his tour today this one was taken especially for yours truly... What can I say, miss living in Oregon and cannot wait until I get back. This is part of the WWII memorial in Washington D.C. for those that are wondering.

Dave plays tourist in our Nation's Capitol...

(that is Washington D.C., the District of Columbia for you veteran Jaywalkers...). Thanks once again to thepistonsfan for playing tour guide with 'Dave' today. The pictures are pretty much self explanatory so I'll try not to clutter the view to much.

If you don't know where this was taken, then you have other issues...

This is where all the funny money is made... good thing we got rid of that pesky gold standard...

The World War II Memorial is a fairly recent addition to the landscape of D.C. Not sure when it was finished off the top of my head, but for those of you who have not seen it I recommend making a visit.

Another must see stop on the circuit is the Vietnam Memorial.

The Washington Monument

The Washington monument as seen from the Lincoln Memorial (IF I recall correctly). Or as most people recognize it, 'that scene from Forest Gump'...

If Lincoln were alive today... he'd probably be a Bears fan ;o)

Last but not least, America's House, or, as it is better known, the place where President Bush is when not at Camp David or in Texas...

Dave at the Chantilly Show, Day 2

Once again, back into the breach known as the Chantilly show with 'Dave'. Yesterday was spent looking around, today was autograph day. We won't show all of them, but here are a few highlights for the day (we apologize in advance for all the Redskins in the pics ;) ). Thanks again to thepistonsfan for the great pictures!!

All Broncos fans should know who this is.... Nightmares never go away, do they? :o) Doug Williams gracious enough to pose with 'Dave' and a friend of thepistonsfan.

Mark Rypien holding his idol, Dave.... (Ok, maybe I embellished that part a little). Nice rings though. His friend there doesn't seem to be a believer in the 'experience', lol

Dave at the Chantilly Show, Day 1

For those not familiar with it, the Chantilly show is held at the Dulles Expo Center and runs until Sunday, March 18th. Quality card shows are hard to find in the hobby these days so if you have never had the chance to attend I highly recommend it. This will probably be the largest card show 'Dave' attends until we all meet up at the National Card Show in Cleveland (held August 1st to August 5th). Once again, thanks to CP Member thepistonsfan for the great pictures!

Best picture of the day by far, former Green Bay standout quarterback Bart Starr posing with 'Dave'. Thanks for putting up with the whims of an odd group of collectors!!!
