Dave in Dixieland

Well, while we are still waiting on pictures from the land of cheese, Dave has begun his new adventures in the land of Dixie. Thanks to CP member Black300on22s for the great pictures!

Happy Birthday Randy!!! Now I feel old :o( On the plus side, that Red Velvet cake looks really good.

Posing with a birthday present.

What can I say, we are dog people on CP.

'Dave', Randy, and Dolly. Can't have a little bit of country without Dolly.

'Dave' at Wonderworks. I'd love to tell you what that is but I really don't know...

'Dave' posing with the boys of Alabama, well, at least their bus...

Don't worry, new pictures are coming soon...

we are just waiting on the images of his trip to opening day in Miller Park.

EDIT: They are finally here, only 3 months later but hey, who is keeping track :D I've actually had these a month so that is my fault too :o(

Anyway, as Libby dodged a jail sentence I'll just move on and post the pics. Enjoy!!! Thanks to TCG member B70x70n for the great shots!!! (Well, to his friend too, Dave was passed around frequently at Miller Park :D)

A little Pre Game pick me up.... For those that do not recall, the Brewers opened the season against the Dodgers of Los Angeles.
Nice shot walking up to Miller Park. Beautiful looking stadium, will definately have to catch a game there one day...
Another shot from outside the park.

Shot of the field from the right field bleachers...

Scoreboard Shot.

I think that is a mural of yount, but what do I know :o)

Believe a shot of the slide in the outfield ;o)

Another scoreboard shot...

Visiting the bullpen...

It is very neon :o)

Brewer Fan Zone... probably a happy place based on their huge lead in the division these days...

Trip down memory lane, Brewer style...

Statue of Hank Aaron I believe, outside the stadium.

Yeah, that must have been Henry up above...
Yount or Molitor, I'll let you guess :o)

It was Yount!

Dave lives like a Colonial...

Well, good news and bad news for those following Dave's Experience. The positive is, CP Member Sycotic hooked him up for some fun time in Virginia. The downside, well, the event we have been waiting on since January kind of fell through, but, more on that later. To the photos!!

CP Member Sycotic, aka Dave, put 'Dave' to work at his bank...

Williamsburg, Virginia

'Dave' tried making a break for it. On an irrelevant note, I have a friend in Oregon that works for Diebold. One technician for literally hundreds of square miles. Can you say busy... ;o)

Williamsburg, Virginia

You cannot go to Williamsburg without a picture of a Colonial...

On the campus of William and Mary...

Just down the street from where Tom Hank's production company is working on a John Adams miniseries. Wonder if he'll bring the volleyball back for a cameo ;o)

Finally, one of the first things we signed 'Dave' up for when we began the entire experience back in January was an all access trip to the Lamb of God concert. Well, when Sycotic showed up with 'Dave', lets just say Security was a little concerned that a 12 oz solid piece of Lucite might be used as a weapon so he was not allowed in... *sigh*. So, after months of waiting Sycotic's back stage pass is as close as he got.

For more about Dave Krieg

take a visit to his personal web site. I should have posted this earlier for people to view, sorry. But, on the plus side, I'm going to add it to our 'Friends of Dave' section (it isn't wrong to list the person as a friend of himself is it??)

**Please note**, this blog nor our site (Collector Planet) are in any way endorsed by Dave Krieg or any other athletes, public personalities, or individuals that have or will be featured in pictures with 'Dave'. This site is solely for the enjoyment of our members and the public at large.

My nominee for the March picture of the month...

Thanks for the picture thepistonsfan!! While on his tour today this one was taken especially for yours truly... What can I say, miss living in Oregon and cannot wait until I get back. This is part of the WWII memorial in Washington D.C. for those that are wondering.

Dave plays tourist in our Nation's Capitol...

(that is Washington D.C., the District of Columbia for you veteran Jaywalkers...). Thanks once again to thepistonsfan for playing tour guide with 'Dave' today. The pictures are pretty much self explanatory so I'll try not to clutter the view to much.

If you don't know where this was taken, then you have other issues...

This is where all the funny money is made... good thing we got rid of that pesky gold standard...

The World War II Memorial is a fairly recent addition to the landscape of D.C. Not sure when it was finished off the top of my head, but for those of you who have not seen it I recommend making a visit.

Another must see stop on the circuit is the Vietnam Memorial.

The Washington Monument

The Washington monument as seen from the Lincoln Memorial (IF I recall correctly). Or as most people recognize it, 'that scene from Forest Gump'...

If Lincoln were alive today... he'd probably be a Bears fan ;o)

Last but not least, America's House, or, as it is better known, the place where President Bush is when not at Camp David or in Texas...
